Where the appliance/installation is owned by a landlord, it also acts as a reminder on the legal requirements under Regulation 36 of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 (as Amended) of having a landlord owned appliance/installations checked for safety within 12 months of the date of the previous safety check.
