Description

Fully compliant with the latest edition of the Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure (IGEM/G/11), the Atom Danger Safety Warning Do Not Use label is designed to be affixed to an appliance/installation identified as unsafe.

Guidance

In accordance with the latest Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure (IGEM/G/11), any part of an appliance/installation which is identified as ‘At Risk’ or ‘Immediately Dangerous’ must not be used until the situation has been resolved. Turning off the gas installation in certain circumstances will not reduce the risks involved and guidance must be followed on what course of action to take.

When an unsafe situation has been identified as 'Immediately Dangerous' or as 'At Risk' (with the risk removed by turning off the appliance), a 'Do Not Use' label must be affixed to the unsafe appliance/installation and accompanied by a Warning Notice: Danger Do Not Use certificate.
