The Atom Service and Maintenance Checklist (CPG30) consists of 25 certificate sets in A4 triplicate and is designed to record activities undertaken by a gas safe registered engineer during service and maintenance work.

Guidance

Although no legal requirement for a service and maintenance Checklist exists, such a checklist is strongly advised to record the activities undertaken by an engineer during servicing and maintenance work. It records activities undertaken and any remedial action carried out or subsequently required.

Many engineers apricate the issue of a document that shows what has actually been carried out to a client, discuss any further work recommended and remind the client of any subsequent servicing activities undertaken on a regular basis.
